Points of Unity
These are the points upon which we operate.
KIP*C:
1) Rejects and opposes all forms of domination and oppression; including, but never limited to: sexism, racism, homophobia, colonialism and capitalism. We came to recognize one form of oppression, now we attempt to fight them all.
2) Believes that knowledge should be shared. We feel that after self-education the next logical step is knowledge sharing. We feel that we, personally, can best achieve this by operating a bookmobile and maintaining a visible presence in our community.
3) Believes in collective structure and grassroots, horizontal organizing. We are neither masters, nor slaves. We are organized based on true equality and direct democracy. We operate around the concept of consensus decision making.

Regarding Point #1: “KIPc rejects and opposes all forms of domination and oppression.” This appears to be paradoxical. For instance, how you can simultaneously reject all forms of dominationn and oppression and, at the same time, ignore the dominations that occur through claims to truth (“knowledge is the key to be free”). it seems to me that any person or group that does not critically engage with the authoritarian impulses associated with claims to Truth, Freedom, Purity, etc., greatly limits its political field and, in the process, pretends to have clean hands.
I’d be interested in a thoughtful response and, hopefully, a real dialog about this issue. It appears as though you have consistently ignored all attempts to discuss such an issue. You appear to have chosen “comfortable politcs” in exchange for ignorant enemy-spotting discourse.
This is your wake up call.
